Letter from Founder

 

Hi everyone, thank you so much for joining me in this Pushaoo journey!

I’m Helena, originally from Brazil but daughter of this beautiful planet we call home. I grew up moving from country to country, most recently moving back to the US in March. I absolutely love traveling, exploring and learning from the different facets of the world.

I’m a yogi, nature lover and I find myself singing my words sometimes.  I am constantly evolving, growing, and striving to become a better version of myself.

Lately, I find myself entertaining the creator in me. The symptoms of the pandemic and a few synchronicities led me to start "Pushaoo.”

Pushaoo is not a place, not a group or a “thing.” Pushaoo is a word that represents the feeling that results from an epic realization/experience. 𝘈𝘩𝘢-𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥-𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘯. 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘱-𝘰𝘶𝘵.

Pushaoo can come from a moment with friends, while traveling and exploring or while sitting with yourself in nature. Pushaoo is being aware that life is working for you, not against you. 

Pushaoo, the business, strives to collaborate with rural artisans and small businesses worldwide who cultivate their products from sustainable materials and further their creation's reach by sharing it with the world. We are working towards greater ecological integrity and social justice in the apparel world through hemp and sustainable fashion. Sustainability is our mantra. Diversity is our strength.

This whole project is ever-changing and evolving but with only good intentions at heart. As I further my own connection with myself, I hope to extend my own seeds of positivity and change.
